Dear fellow writer:
You are exhausted and teary, feeling attacked by the advisor who should be supporting you and cheering you on but I have a secret to share with you. Our critics can become our biggest allies,
A priest was hounded by three parishoners who believed that his sermons were not orthodox. They always sat in the front pew with scowls on their faces, writing down everything word he spoke. The priest complained to God, hoping a thunderbolt would strike down his accusers. Instead God sent him an inner image of three men carving a beautiful statue. When they turned, the priest was startled to realize the the three sculpturers were in fact his three accusers. In reality God was using them to refine this priest as they hacked off anything that was not of God. In fact his accusers were in reality a blessing.
