Iman Maleki, Iranian painter, was born on 1976 in Tehran. He has  been passionate about   painting since he was a child, studying under Morteza Katouzian, (the best realist painter of Iran) by the time he was barely 15.  In 1999 he graduated in Graphic Design from the Art University of Tehran.  In the year 2000, he got married and in the following year he established ARA Painting Studio and started to teach painting.
His art , soft, poignant, often revealing poverty and suffering, engages the viewer and elicits a  response. His paintings are not simply pretty pictures but are imbued with depth and emotion.
